The Everett, Tutt, and King War is one of the wildest and deadliest family feuds in American history. The feud is comparable to the Hatfields and McCoys, and most believe to be much deadlier. The feud occurred in Yellville, Arkansas. Throughout the 1840s, where the Governor declared Martial Law for six weeks, due to civil unrest. Newspapers covered the feud all over America and throughout England.

The locations in which it occurred, and the people involved, ha coincidental connections to famous explorers, Native American chiefs, presidents, war heroes, wild west legends, outlaws, and vigilantes. Some include Daniel Boone, Lewis and Clark, Thomas Jefferson, Francis “Swamp Fox” Marion, Wild Bill Hickok, the Bald Knobbers, and more.
